Today we witnessed, in the most real and urgent way, what “team spirit” means.

Seconds From Disaster: Cyprus Dragon Boats Nearly Swept Away

Following a distress signal from the Cyprus Dragon Boat Federation, we were alerted that our Dragon Boats at the Crown Plaza Beach, were in immediate danger due to rough sea conditions. The sea was roaring, the waves were intimidating, and the risk of total damage was serious and very real.

Thanks to an incredibly fast, decisive response, the following equipment was moved to safety before it could be wrecked:

·       Federation Dragon Boats saved: 1 standard + 2 small boats

·       Cyprus Shark's boat saved: 1 standard boat

·       Raging Mouflon's boat saved: 1 standard boat

We want to publicly acknowledge the people who ran, last minute, straight from work, without hesitation and actively saved the day:

Your immediate action protected both private assets and Federation assets from what could have been complete destruction. This wasn’t convenient. It wasn’t planned. It was urgent and you showed up anyway.
