OPEN CALL, Raging Mouflons Pinks Team (Erasmus+ Project)
We are excited to announce the creation of a Regular Raging Mouflons Pinks Team, our dedicated dragon boat team made up of paddlers who have gone through breast cancer and wish to paddle, grow, and lead together.
This team will be part of an Erasmus+ European project on rehabilitation, prevention, and empowerment through Pink Dragon Boating, in collaboration with partner clubs from Serbia, Croatia and Romania.
To make this project run from Cyprus, we are looking for women who are ready to commit not only to weekly trainings, but also to organising and administrating the project from within the Pinks team.

What we’re creating
A stable, weekly training group of breast cancer survivors (water & land sessions).
A team that will travel and represent Cyprus at:
The Danube Pink Dragon Challenge (Serbia) and
An international Pink Dragon Camp (October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month).
A core group of women who will run the project themselves, with the support of the Raging Mouflons Executive Committee.
Roles within the Pinks Erasmus Team
Members of the Pinks team will take on the key roles needed to run the project from Cyprus and report back both to the Executive Committee and to Erasmus+.
We are inviting expressions of interest for the following roles.
Opportunity for fully covered travel expenses (funded by Erasmus+) will be given to the people undertaking the predefined roles, as marked below.
Any remaining Erasmus+ funds will then be allocated to cover, in whole or in part, the travel expenses of the remaining participating Pink paddlers.
1. Financial Administrator
Keep simple budget and expense reports for the project.
Collect and file receipts, invoices, and proofs of payment.
Prepare brief financial updates for the Executive Committee and Erasmus reporting.
2. Training Administrator
Coordinate with the coach to schedule weekly trainings (water & land).
Keep attendance lists and track participation.
Help ensure the group is following the training structure agreed with the medical/technical partners.
3. Methodology & Safety Coordinator
Read, understand, and help implement the rehabilitation methodologies proposed by the project organisers.
Work closely with the coach to adapt training to the specific needs of breast cancer survivors.
Help collect feedback from paddlers about exercises, comfort levels, and safety.
4. Event Organizer, Pink Prevention Day (Cyprus)
Plan and run the Pink Prevention Day in Cyprus (location, programme, partners, volunteers).
Liaise with local organisations, doctors, physiotherapists, hospitals, and women’s groups.
Coordinate logistics on the day (schedule, materials, registration, etc.).
5. Travel Coordinator
Organise the team’s trips to the Danube and to the international camp:
Flights, accommodation, local transport, insurance, basic budget.
Work with the Financial Administrator on cost estimates and payments.
Coordinate travel communication (documents needed, what to bring, deadlines).
6. Social Media & Storytelling Manager
Promote the Pinks trainings, events, and Erasmus activities on Raging Mouflons channels.
Collect testimonials, photos and videos from Pinks members.
Coordinate filming of trainings, exercises, and key moments for the Erasmus digital platform.
Share regular updates to build awareness of Pink Dragon boating in Cyprus.
7. Documentation & Reporting Coordinator
Keep a simple archive of meeting notes, attendance, events, photos, and outcomes.
Help prepare short progress reports for the Executive Committee and Erasmus partners.
Make sure all project documents are stored in an organised, accessible way.
8. Medical / Support Liaison (if available)
Act as the contact point with doctors/physiotherapists/psychologists connected to the project.
Help paddlers with basic questions on clearance, safety, and follow-up (without replacing any medical professional).
What we expect
Commitment to weekly trainings (water sessions, plus occasional land/rehab sessions).
Willingness to be part of the core volunteer team that runs the project logistics.
Availability to travel for at least one of the international activities (Danube Challenge and/or October camp), if selected.
Spirit of teamwork, openness, confidentiality and emotional support, we are building something powerful and sensitive at the same time.
Who can join
Breast cancer survivors who wish to paddle regularly and be part of an empowering European project.
Former or new paddlers, no dragon boat experience required, we’ll teach you.
Women ready to contribute either on the boat, behind the scenes, or both.
