On Sunday morning, we gathered at Crowne Plaza beach with the usual Raging Mouflons spirit. This time, however, we did not run a dragon boat training session. The sea was rough, so safety came first. Instead of paddling, we focused on handling our equipment and moved one of our standard boats on the beach.
Tai Chi with Bonnie
Rather than a water session, Bonnie led a Tai Chi class. Around 20 of us took part, slowing down, working on breath, balance, and calm focus. It was a strong reminder that team strength is built not only on the water, but also through moments of connection and mindful practice

Cutting the Traditional Vasilopita
After Tai Chi, we shared one of the warmest moments of the morning: cutting the traditional Vasilopita (New Year’s cake). Tina won the gold coin, and as tradition says, that makes her the lucky one for the year. We’re wishing her—and all of us—a year full of health, joy, and good fortune.

Together, As Always
Even when conditions don’t allow a training session, the Mouflons mindset stays the same: presence, teamwork, care, and consistency. A Sunday morning without paddling—but with everything that makes our club special.
Wishing everyone a wonderful year ahead, with safety, strength, and many great moments both on and off the water.
